AR-10 308 21" barrel average life?

I know this is a question that could have 20 different answers but how many rounds on average should a GOOD QUALITY AFTERMARTKET barrel be good for before you see accuracy start to drop off if using factory rounds.

I know there are people that shoot the hell out of their 308 AR's and they change barrels around 3,000, 5,000, 10,000 or more?

I also know this answer "When accuracy drops off".
But I would bet that those barrels start to fail after shooting and wearing thru about X? amount of bullets.
Just trying to find out the life expectancy of a well used 21" quality barrel with matching bolt that has 3,500 factory rounds thru it.

Yer probably a bit less than half done depending on all the variables you might have already thought of.

The problem is it varies too much depending on how it was used.

A shooter doing matches with long/high count strings of fire can wear one out in half the round count of a recreational shooter.
