AR-30 300WM Projectile Choice?

Here are the specs to an Armalite AR-30 300WM i will be shooting between 300-1000 yards. Considering these specs what would be the most ideal projectile weight to begin with. If anyone knows of a site that has barrel twist/projectile weight info please include link or address.

Specs:
Barrel- 26" chrome moly bbl, 6 groove
Twist- RH 1-10"

Will this shoot the 208 AMAX at 2900 FPS?
What thread-pitch is the BBL, wondering if I could put my can on it?

10 twist will handle the 208 AMAXs just fine. It will shoot everything from 155s up to 240s but the Hornady 208 AMAXs will work very well for your distances.

Mine is very accurate even with those 150 gr sp factory $15 boxes, 208 gr amax do better than 1/2" @ 100 yds very consistent, I don't load them to that MV, I think mine is doing around 2780 fps with h1000 & fed 210 primers, it's accurate with several loads I tried with h1000.

BSP212 has a 26" william roscoe built .300wm, he's pushing 208 A-max's at 2940 and it's a life altering experience to shoot. I stopped even considering a .50 or .338 since BOTW in Liberty hill doesnt allow 50's and .338's are so expensive to feed.
