Gunsmithing AR Bore Guide

Did a search and nothing came up so here goes....

Any recommendations for a bore guide for an AR-10? I'm going to get one from Mike Lucas for my Savage .308 but wondering if there are any other considerations for an AR...especially since I can disassemble the upper and not worry about any solvent getting in the action and doesn't have bedding. Any complaints on the JP Enterprises bore guide? It seems to be the only one that says it's for ARs....at least on Midway. Thanks!

I've got the AR15 style one, built like a tank....well an all aluminum tank. No doubt it will last for years.

I have one for my AR-15 and it has worked great. All of the guys that I used to shoot High Power with use these also.

Plus for $36 you can't go wrong

AR10 cleaning link $16 (#14-912) The cleaning link is very handy for separating the upper and lower for cleaning the barrel.

Paul and Wes at MSTN (www.mstn.biz) have carried the Neil Jones boreguides for 5.56, 6.8, and 7.62's. If you drop them an e-mail ([email protected]) asking if they have a SR-25/AR-10 boreguide they can let you know if they have one in stock. They were running around $50 or $60. They have never listed them in their online store section, even when they had them in stock, so it's best to e-mail and ask. They are a little higher on the price end, but are top notch. -A

I have used bore guides from sinclair international.The bore guides are in the 20's if I remember from the last time I used them.Customer service is good as well.
