Gunsmithing AR10 Barrels? Who does em?

I need some recommendations on who can put together a custom AR10 barrel for me.

First choice would be from a Rock or Bartlein blank. 18" finished length and threaded. I am open to other options though.

Preferrably not more than a couple months wait.

I am planning on calling GAP on Monday, but from what I had heard, they were not taking any more AR10 work at this time.

I am also planning on calling Geoff Corn, a local smith and see if he does AR10's. I am worried the wait for a Bartlien blank may be awhile too.

We Do still do AR-10 Barrel and have Bartlein Blanks in stock.

4-6 weeks on a Barrel.

I called GAP and got a price a while ago, when I was thinking of changing the barrel on my AR10. Can't go wrong with an of there work.

Does Satern do AR10 barrels? They never listed them?

I just checked Krieger's website, they do AR-10 barrels, chambering, etc. But I don't know any timeframes.

They will do AR10 barrels. I sent a reply asking for the prices and havent heard back yet

I just got a barrel from Krieger and it took nearly 4 months. I sent them the bolt and had it chambered in 6.5x47 lapua

I just got one from Krieger also. This thing is a piece of work and makes me want to take the barrel off one of my bolt guns and have them make one of it. It cleans up the easiest of any barrel that I have used and is more accurate than I though it would be. They took about 3 months on mine, but I spoke with them about 2-3 weeks ago and they told me that they had streamlined a few things inside and were able to get the barrels out a little quicker now. They have the best customer service of any barrel maker that I have dealt with also, and I have order from most of the big names. Get the Krieger, I can't imagine you won't be satisfied.

I just ordered a BCG tonight. I ended up spending too much for it, but finding one in stock was a PITA. Armalite won't have any until December.

Yep, ended up getting the BCG from 762SASS.com. I didn't ask Armalite if they had just the bolts becuase I need the whole carrier. Buying the bolt from them and carrier from someone else probably wouldn't have saved me any money.

Anyway... It's on the way. Once I get it in my grubby hands I will pull the bolt and send it off to GAP.
