Whats a good one that accurate and reliable? I know White Oaks is the best but Im not dropping a grand on an upper. I want it to have the same weight as my M4 and to have a barrel with a 1/16 twist so its designed to shoot 22 ammo.
I bought a Tactical Solutions upper back in January and it kicks ass! I havent shot any groups with it, but it seems fairly accurate. It runs like a top with all of the ammo I have tried in it, except for a few light strikes every now and then because I have JP reduced power springs in the lower. It doesnt do it often enough for me to change back to full power trigger springs, but I have thought about swapping them back out to verify that as the issue.
I bought a Silencerco Sparrow last week and I got to try it out last Saturday. With the Federal Automatch that I usually shoot through this upper, it was fairly loud because the ammo was staying supersonic. I remembered that I had a half a box of Wolf Match Target (subsonic) in my truck so I tried it out. All you could hear was the action cycling and the bullet hitting the steel I was shooting at. It was AWESOME! I cannot wait to try it out again soon.
I bought the AR22-M4 upper and pulled the front sight/handguard off. I installed a free float railed handguard to duplicate the look/feel of one of my AR's in 556, which is the one that usually resides on this lower.
