I had a bushmaster carbon 15 lying around. Let me just say one thing about the carbon 15. Its a very light and great shooting rifle that bushmaster made, I just grew tired of the feel of the polymer/carbon/plastic/notsurewhat upper and lower. So i decided to take some parts from the carbon 15 and build a new AR.

Removed barrel

I installed a YHM low profile gas block using the carbon 15's gas tube
I then attached the carbon 15s barrel to an Aero Precision upper receiver, I also threw on a 13'' Troy rail.

I used a Aero Precision stripped lower, with a DPMS parts kit, i also threw on a magpul trigger guard and a geissele 2stage trigger (which breaks great)
