Hey everybody! I was out shooting my cousins AR15 a few days ago and it kept getting a round stuck between the action and the mag. I am unsure of the AR's build however I know that it was built to be legal in california. Meaning 10 round semi auto, however it is a 20 round clip with blocks in it to stop it at 10 rounds. Could these blocks be putting uneven pressure onto the spring plate in the mag and do this?

Ditch the mag...that is likely the source of your FTF problems.
Check with MidwestPX here on the site. They are offering some Magpul PMAGs that are built to reduced capacity for huting use, etc.
They function 100% from all the AR's I have tried them in.

Yeah,+1 to what the other guys said. If that doesn't cure it you may have a gas system problem.

While it could be a magazine problem there are other possibilities. Were you shooting factory ammo or reloads?
