Ar15 fixed front sight scope mount option help

Is anyone running a strike eagle scope (or similar 30mm) on a fixed front sight ar15? Looking for some reviews from some guys on what mount to run and how it clears the fixed front sight.

I have a strike eagle 1-6x24mm?? 30mm tube wanting to mount on a daniel defense ddm4 fixed front sight style gas block. I would like to run the aero precision 1 piece mount. I am worried that it will interfere with my visibility though. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You can't get a mount high enough to completely clear the front sight. I've had people tell me that the front sight ghosts out of the picture through the scope and it works fine. I'd be in the market for a new gas block myself...

Only on low power will you see the front sight. On 6x you won't see it. I would also be looking for a folding front sight gas block.

There is an extreme lack of gunsmiths in my area, and if its anything like a PSA fixed front sight then I dont want to attempt removing the gas block. I may try a mount just to see how bad the 1x is. Thanks for the input.

The pins drive out from one direction. YouTube is your friend on how to remove the front sight/gas block. And you can buy a clamp on folding front sight/block.

Remove the existing fsb and use the MI three screw block, it is longer and hides the "scars" of the taper pins. Either sell or keep the fsb in case you want to reinstall it.
