Not currently able to remedy the situation being that I'm in Washington and the rifle is in Kentucky but I was wondering if anyone might have some insight as to my issue. I put together this AR mainly from BCM, except for the lower. The lower was purchased complete from a local gun shop. There was a mix up with the buffer tube initially. It was supposed to be milspec but wasn't so I had to change that and put an H2 buffer in it. Also, i changed the pistol grip to a magpul moe or something like that. I know that stuff doesn't really matter but I'm trying to paint the whole picture. Here's my issue, I believe the lower to be of somewhat low quality, either in manufacture or assembly. I believe the trigger to be the culprit. Sometimes the trigger wont reset properly and it will either kick off two rounds with one pull or after one pull, it wont reset at all and ill have to charge the weapon again, ejecting a good round.
I hope that was descriptive enough. What I'm asking is, if I remove the current trigger parts and install something of a bit higher quality along the lines of a Geissele, would it remedy my problem?
On second thought, could it be a combination of a shitty trigger, heavy buffer, and m16 auto bolt carrier group? Or, should I just say fuck this lower and get one from spikes or something similar?
for shits and giggles (not the most recent configuration but you get the idea)
