AR30 discontinued

This might be old news, its new to me. Armalite discontinued the whole AR 30* platform. I always thought it was a stout and overbuilt action, a good candidate for something Lapua mag or Cheytac after a little massaging.

That’s to bad. I had one in 338 lapua a few years back and it was built like a tank. It was a heavy damn thing with a very efficient break. Recoil was super light but you weren’t going to want to carry it very far.
