AR500 Steel

Can anyone recommend hide steel vendors.

I'm looking for ready to hang/stand plates for long distance rifle (.308 and 6.5 Grendel.

Can I get a recommendation for what steel a beginning LR shooter might benefit from? What size plates, how mant etc.

I bought 12" and 16" AR500 gongs from Arntzen Targets.

What distance range is available to you? That might guide your choice in target sizes.

I got my plates from him and they have held up to even 338 LM with no sign of trouble. get a set because it has several different sizes. I got two sets.
Then I bought one of the 45% IPSC targets that is spring loaded.

MGM Targets...
Got me a 24x18 "steel challenge" plate; very easy to move and break down, hang and paint, very durable, and LOUD too even at 900-1000yds with my 308. Your own 2x4 determines how high you want it, which is nice. Also comes in 10" or 12" circles. Oh, and it showed up right quick at the front door. Very happy.

Got a 12" plate from OSUarchitect and beat on it with 308, 300 WM and 338 Lapua. It has some bends in it, 338 at 300 yards will do that, but it is holding up well.
