Rifle Scopes AR50A1B Optics for competition?

I sold my AR50 and going to replace it with a new A1B model with all APA gear. My question is what would be the best optics for shooting 1000yd matches? I was thinking about the NightForce NXS. What would you guys recommend and I'm also not sure what rings to run yet either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
