Hi all, im putting together a PRS gun ( 6.5 creed, curtis custom vector, bartlein R5 7.5, ATACR 5-25 Mil XT) using a MPA hybrid and a atlas PSR.
For an adapter to go to the Arca Swiss rail im tossing up between the area 419 arcalock and the RRS BTCA with SC-LR.
What are peoples experience with either of these products ? do they slip under load ?

Cheers

Have used three various ones, two on my MPA, including the 419 you mention. The RRS is vastly better in my opinion, locks tight, lever half position slides, lever open it comes right off gun, just impressive. They have a black one, but was out of stock. It locks to picatinny and arca. I ordered this compact other model, full and compact sizes available, from BH photo and had it three days later. Just put this RRS on foundation yesterday, have not put on MPA yet.

I know you said you're already going the RRS route, so this is more for others who might read this thread, but I have that same RRS clamp as @Danattherock and it's an incredible piece of kit. I use it on my MPA competition chassis and on the forearm Arca cut, it's perfect. My issue is I have the MPA dovetail on my spigot and I think the dovetail is a hair undersized, so my bipod/clamp slides during recoil and I have readjust it after X number of shots
