Is anyone having issues with the Area 419 scope base coming loose ?? I went to the range yesterday, about 200 rounds down range and before I left I notice the base moved again.. It was torqued to 22 inch pounds as per instructions and I used blue loctite on the base screws.. last week the same thing happened.. can't figure out what's going on here..

Yeah, I'm baffled myself.... I cleaned the threads and re applied the loctite, and had the rifle sitting on my bench for 24 hours.. seems like the 24 inch pounds isn't very tight for the base.. I have a Midas Tac on it and it has some weight to it

I havent had issues with my A419 base coming loose on my 455 but I did have it move when I banged it off the concrete. My buddy has had issues with his coming loose on his 457. He got a 2nd one from A419 and it was better but still had issues. He's a machinist and believes it's the dove tail out of spec after having issues with the 2nd one and he ended up jb welding it to the receiver.

Idk why CZ kept that dove tail on the 457 without atleast putting some kind of recoil lug on it. Seems like an accuracy weak spot to me when you're banging things around on barricades and such.

I have owned about 10 of these from 30 to 50 MOA versions. Of those one came loose (30MOA) and I think it was a manufacturing issue.

I reached out and they sent a replacement no questions asked and only wanted the faulty one in return. Never had a problem since.

They are a great company and they stand behind their work.
