Area 419 Zero Press Turret Question

Sorry for the dumb question but going to order the Area 419 Zero Press. I've never reloaded before so pretty clueless . Should I order the hybrid turret (half 7/8" and half 1 1/4" holes) or standard (all 7/8")? Thanks

What calibers and Dies? If you plan on using the Area 419 M-Series dies you would want the Hybrid or All 1¼ Turret. If you want to use standard dies get the ⅞ turret.

Starting out it'll be 6.5cm and later 300blk and most likely 6mm. I will most likely get the Area 419 M-series dies also but not 100% on the dies yet. Thanks for the info, sounds like the hybrid will be best.

No Problem! Glad I could help. I will say the Hybrid only has four ⅞ holes so only enough for two sets of standard dies.

Yes sir, that's what I bought. Already shipped which is crazy fast.

They told me they recommend the Redding competition seating die but I'm open to suggestions. I haven't bought the sizing die yet either. Brownell's has the M-Series about a $100 cheaper than Area 419 also. That's with the veteran discount at both places it must be marked down some also.

FYI you can get adapters that will reduce the 1-1/4" to 7/8" threads in case you need to use standard size dies in them. Take a look at the Short Action Customs dies. Somewhat expensive, but worth it. I've used both A419 and SAC dies and prefer the SAC dies.
