Our next monthly match will be May 11th with rounds going down range at 0700. Attached is the info from Practiscore. Due to popularity (our last four matches have filled with a 20+ person wait list), registration will be live on April 14th at 0700. Precision rifle competition hosted by AZLRPRS at CowTown Range. Participants will need 80 rifle rounds for the competition. Target distances will be between 100 yards and 1000+ yards. Events will take place on the upper west shooting platforms.
Effective February 2019 the cost for the match is $40 CASH.
Please be sure you're able to attend PRIOR to registering. Participants that register and "no show" will be tracked. If you no show 2 months in a row without contacting the match directors, you will not be allowed to shoot further matches without approval from a staff member. We understand that things happen, but we also want to ensure there are registration spots available for people who will show up, please contact the match directors to ensure your registration is removed and the spot is opened for someone else if you cannot make the match. This should be done no later that Wednesday prior to the match date.
Registration will be done solely through Practiscore. Check-in will be from 0630-0645. Rounds go downrange starting at 0700, rain or sweltering shine. Rifles should be capable of holding 1MOA. Calibers limited to anything between .223 and .30cal (300WM) and may not exceed 3200 fps in velocity.
Please be sure to bring hearing and eye protection (required). Bring plenty of water and electrolytes. Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Chamber flags are required. If you do not have one, some may be available onsite.
Awards will be given for Top 3 Overall, Top Production, and Top Tactical division shooters after the steel has been torn down and props put away. After the the match tear down, we usually meet at Wild Horse West, Top Shelf, or another close by establishment that serves cold drinks and good food.
Scores for the match will be posted through Practiscore within 24 hours of the match ending and will be submitted to the Precision Rifle Series for the Southwest Regional scores. For 2019, a new rule change by the Precision Rifle Series means if you'd like your score to count for regional points which will allow you to gain entry into the PRS Finale in November, you must be a paid regional series member. The cost for a regional membership is $40 through www.precisionrifleseries.com.
