I've got one in the .308. For the money, you wont find a better built rifle. A little on the heavy side, but great for BR shooting. The muzzle break is very effective as well. I found mine at a good deal on SnipersHide, kind of wish it was a .338, but the .308 with handloads works well up to 1000 where I shoot it

I had one in 300wm and it was a blast to shoot, and accurate as hell, in-da-weeds is right, long and heavy and the muzzel blast from the side means no one can shoot beside you, it will scare the living shit out of them.

I had one in .300 WM too. Excellent rifle. It was the first magnum rifle I was ever able to hang on to and watch the bullet hit the target. And yes, the muzzle blast off them is pretty rough.

That big ol' clamshell keeps recoil somewhere below a .223. Maybe not as easy as a Hornet but close. the .338 is better ballistics than the .300 with more powder is all.
