MTG filed the articles on day one of this installed administration. If they don't all get together on this, it's just cannon fodder. I seriously doubt anything will come of this. Wake me up when any of these crooks are arrested.

Impeachment proceedings give the house some tools they don't otherwise have. Other than that, it's a calculated risk. When the media is so in the tank for one side, it's always risky. Of course there's some known info that's coming out this week and I suspect that will play into all of this and it will be hard to call Impeachment purely political. The senate of course will never convict no matter what .

Now impeachment, which was only used in the extreme case of Andrew Johnson is being bandied about for every President for every reason... none of which measure up to the indended standard.
But now it's "Payback for Clinton..." Payback for Trump. It'll be payback for Biden next.

Washington is now a disease... As I mentioned last week, was there for much of the week. The building and wealth there is amazing. And by that I mean appalling. Every inch is luxury condos. Houses that were 'affordable' 20 years ago are all 1 - 3 million dollars. Every place is being removated. Roofs cleved off and houses made into multi-story McMansions. Saw one place that was the "Pump house" for a larger house. Like a toolshed. Not only is that now a luxury house, but they are expanding it... probably half a million being spent.
When the ONLY place in a nation that is thriving, growing and sucking in all the wealth is the seat of government... it is the sign of a sick, decayed society that is on its last legs. Prepare for a hard, hard few years. Or decades. Or forever.
