I worked at Associate Wholesale Grocers for a number of years. Seemed to work really well for the customer stores because it consolidated ordering to a single point, and dramatically reduced the number of vendors a store had to interact with.

Kinda liked the job cause for most of the time I would hit my numbers, and they just let me do my thing. As a "casual part timer" I could pick my schedule, and because I was top production numbers, I got to pick my schedule before any of the others. Then for whatever reason, they decided to fuck with me because I didn't want to joint the union. So they would move me from department to department, and then then yell at me because my numbers were low because they would move me to departments I wasn't as proficient in. They finally fired me after I took a stand and told them to leave me the fuck alone and let me work in the department I liked.

I'm glad it happened, as that was the path to where I am today. I'm not mad at the company, just one single douche canoe name Chris Griffin. I hope he dies in a fire.
