However ive been in an accident and will be out of work biggest part of the year and having to clear out a bunch of stuff to pay bills for awhile and if possible I would like some ideas where a person could go to sell or post a top grade set of laser range finding optics for the best price. I'm very aware of the value of what I have. But just don't have an idea where to sell them. I'm not in any need of anything as high end as these are and would rather them go to someone that can use them. Again if this falls under being an illegal post I apologize I just don't know where to start to try selling such item. Thank you all.

Thanks for the suggestion. And if I wasn't in the spot I'm in w losing the use of my left leg due to an accident last month and I wasn't out of work then spending the 50 to chance selling it on here wouldn't b a problem. But I'm pinching pennies daily right now. I'm not trying to sell them here only asking for ideas where someone could go with out it costing to do up front. I been the sole provider of my family raising 6 kids of my own and 3 step children now. Every dime has a huge purpose at the moment. If I can squeeze it out of our income now then I will try it so I can post them and maybe much more if it works out. Thanks again for the time in replying. I know I'm walking on thin ice being a new comer to the sight but I had to take the chance for the help at the time.
You don’t have to use the PX if your just going to give stuff away for free.
If you are legit & have a really good price, you shouldn't have any problem getting them sold here, probably for less trouble than elsewhere.
But if you can't afford $50 to be able to list high end stuff to a huge marketplace, it's rough.

I am in the same boat as you, I did not have an accident, my wife lost her job as a Mid-Level provider ( Medicine) talk about a huge chunk of change, thank God I work in medicine too, the income I make has been nice but we have to be careful with expenses. You might try gun broker, I have sold several items there, usually find people looking for what you are selling, huge audience. Best of luck and hopefully all ends well with your injuries.

If you can’t afford to pay upfront for PX access, and google has brought you here, then google can bring you to the stack of free to play sales sites. However if you actually have a top quality product and aren’t going to ask full (or over) retail for your used item, I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll sell it in a weekend. High end stuff usually sells within minutes on weekends here.
All that being said, buy the membership and post your item for sale at a good price. Then recoup the $50 buy in. Because here’s the thing, if you’re that strapped for cash, a buyer might have reservations that you might have something pop up, even after they send the funds (which has happened), and that you won’t have money to ship the item, let alone with insurance and signature receipt.
The other thing is that this looks like an attempt to circumvent the PX system to make a quick sale by hoping a member contacts you in a PM to ask for more info on it and ultimately buys it. If that’s the case, then any member who contacts you should be banned along with you.

Incubation period for this thing seems to be longer than all of the other ones we had in the past. Is it going to be a nothingburger? Or just mild fever, sniffles and cough? Or are we going to be bleeding from the ass, ears, and mouth in the next 48 hours?

To my great shame, I'm not as serious an asshole as I could be. In fact, in that regard, I'm a bit of a slacker. I think that I could achieve more if I could regain the use of my left leg, even if it sounds like the OP's problem might be the center one.
