Hello gents,
So as the title states, at what time do you decide it's time to finally add negative feedback?
Been trying to get a rifle from a member here but communication on his part is very very rare. I'm having such a difficult time getting him to talk to me over the phone and text messages have only been a few. I'll say this though, he was quick enough to say that he does accept PayPal and sent me a link to his PayPal account so I could send the money. He suggested I send over the money as well as my FFL info and that he would have the rifle sent. After that, it's been crickets. Now I don't know about you, but to me that seems like maybe he was hoping to make some easy cash and simply forget about everything else. I would hate for another fellow member to fall victim to this. I asked to speak with him and he mentioned he was out with family but would call me later when they got home.
Here's the catch, he at one point did apologize and said he would have gotten to me a lot sooner but his work does not allow him to have his phone. Okay I get that. Maybe he is some sort of investigator or paid assasin that works many many hours. Wouldn't he have to eat at one point though and take a small break? He did say he would sell the rifle to me, so why not be a man of his world and sell me the rifle instead of going ghost on me? The time I called him, phone rang for about two seconds only, seems like he saw my call and rejected.
Technically, he hasn't screwed me over because I never sent payment. One reliable member here has bought from him and sold to him and can vouch for him. So I do think that maybe he's an honorable man that has gotten caught up with work and family. It's been about a week and a half though that I'm trying to make this transaction happen. Other than that, he doesn't have any feedback. I had already forgotten about it and made up my mind that this is a deal that just wasn't going to happen. But then I remembered that maybe I should add negative feedback. Somebody else could have sent over the money when he requested it and maybe it would have had a negative outcome.
Though???
