Rifle Scopes Athlon's reticle selection

Just wondering... Am I the only person who wants Athlon to make a Cronus or Ares with their APRS2 reticle? I really want to get into one of their higher end optics, but their reticle selection just ain't for me. I want a basic reticle ala APRS2, SKMR, EBR1C etc.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I can swear I've seen others who want non XMAS tree reticles too.

I would shy away from athelon I bought a ares etr a few months back the first one I got the lines on the elevation and wind turrets did not line up so I called and they said send it back and we’ll send you out a new one so I payed $17 to send it back then they called and said we’re waiting for out next shipment and it would be about a month. Dam ok so I finally got my second one and bam same thing the turrets are all out of wack. So I called again and they told me that. Ya that’s a normal thing with the etr sorry. I asked for a refund they said they don’t do that so basically they said tough shit I was just going to have to deal with it because it’s just a normal thing with the etr. So I won’t be buying another athelon product.

The only people I have know who had to use Athlon CS were people who damaged their scopes due to user error. A buddy of mine just had a gun shop crush the tube of his Ares with the rings when they mounted it. He sent it in last week and got his new scope today. I have several Athlon’s and have nothing but good things to say about them. On top of that you have great Vendors like Cameraland who stand behind the products too. All and all I think you are in the minority here. I have heard very few negative things said about their products.

Ya your prob right. The first scope I returned went good they were very nice and apologetic But the second time I called they said it was a known problem with the etr and they can’t do anything that kinda made me mad I’m sure if I got one of the good ones I would be happy. The glass was great and I know it tracks well I just expect for $1,200 (and I know that isn’t shit when it comes to good scopes) I just want my lines to line up.

Yep, I'm guilty of doing just that. I dropped a new Midas Tac and sent it to them hoping they could repair the dented objective housing at my expense. They sent me a brand new scope instead. Their CS impressed me so much I've since bought an Ares ETR and a Cronos BTR.
