Atlanta, GA Ranges

Hello Gentlemen,

I will soon be traveling to Atlanta, GA for work. I will be there until the end of the year and hope to get some range time. My local range runs out to 600 yards and I was hoping to find something similar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not aware of any public long-distance ranges in the area, but the link below is a very good indoor range and first class facility. It's located about 1/2mi from Atlanta's Lamborghini dealership, if that gives you any idea of the area demographic.

I'd start by giving these guys a call and asking if they know of any longer ranges in the area. It's worth stopping by as well, as they stock some decent gear.

Creekside is 45 minutes north of Atlanta and is 600yds but that's for members only and memberships are like $175 for the whole year.

great place, very relaxing area.
If you have your pistol, Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna on the northwest side of Atlanta has just opened their new indoor range.

call ahead for gunsite. chief will get you set up. also stop by a hardware store or walmart and get a can of white and red spray paint to cover the steel. as for local to atlanta. Sandy Springs is nice as is range, guns, safe either south towards Forest Park or up 85 off of Pleasant Dale. I would not recommend Bulleye as they dont keep tabs on the idiots that walk in.
