Atlas V8 Bipod mount mlok orientation

I'm sorry guys, I've been using Harris Bidods since I was a little kid. I'm an old man now and really wanted to give one of these a try. Could you please tell me whcih end of this thing goes toward the muzzle?

Sling stud towards the trigger guard. If not when you attach a sling it would be in the way

Thank you so much. I know that this was a stupid question, but I am ignorant to these bipods. They have been around for years, but I've never changed over.
