Sorry if this is in the wrong place....I recently picked up a MARS reflex sight with a pressure pad for an IR laser. Trying to get the switch to sit against the rail, but the wire is rather thick so a Tango Down pocket doesn't work (velcro doesn't stick so well to the rubber back - maybe I could use some better adhesive) and the manta rails clips are too small to accommodate the larger-than-normal diameter wire. Any idea on how to attach the pressure switch to the picatinny rail? Thoughts/ideas are appreciated.

Problem is that my rail is on a FS2000 where the rail sits right on the forend and there is no option to do a rubber band/zip tie deal unless its wrapped around the entire front end.

Will the wire fit down into a Picatinny slot?
If so you can take a ladder rail cover, notch out a small portion from both sides without cutting it half. Slip the wire into a picatinny rail slot, slide the ladder rail cover over it so the wire goes into the notch the rail cover should snap into the rest of the rail. I don't know how thick the wire is on a MARS but it's worked for me in the past with other tape switches.

Ergo Grips and other companies make specific rail interface mounts for pressure swicthes that all you to clamp them securely to any rail setup. See here:

There are also a variety of different companies making rail covers with built-in pressure switch cut outs that might work. Tango Down is only one company and while theirs might not work, you might try running a basic Google search and seeing what comes up.
