Hunting & Fishing ATTN: CALIFORNIANS!! Need Calls/Emails on SB1221

Anti-Hunting bill has made it all the way to the TOP and is now awaiting Governor Browns signature.
SB1221 will ban the use of dogs for hunting bears and bobcats in CA. HSUS is backing this.

It is SUPER SIMPLE to call and Email.

Go to the link and ask Governor Brown to VETO SB1221.
Put in your info, select SB1221 in the drop-down menu, select "Con" and Write a short polite letter.
All hunters need to do this whether you run dogs or not! Takes 1-2 minutes to complete. You all are just goofing around on the computer anyways instead of working haha


ps: do the same for AB1527, banning the open carry of long guns

Sorry, that sucks. We lose a little more everyday and most sit on the sidelines with their thumbs up their asses saying "I don't hunt with hounds so this doesn't effect me."

EXACTLY. Sad that the hunting community is so divided. Bowhunters talk crap about rifle hunters. Big game hunters talk crap about waterfowlers. Rifle hunters talk crap about baiting and running dogs. This stuff is rampant on hunting forums. People dont realize this will be our downfall. The antis know it and that is exactly why they go about things the way that they do. They chip away at it piece by piece until it is all gone. They also know that CA is an easy target. HSUS said it themselves that they will start with CA and move on from there until ALL HUNTING IS GONE. Looks like they are off to a good start.

seriously, damn it.
every bill i hear of that comes out of my state is a terrible idea.
wish i had seen this.

i do hunt with dogs. i have a walker coonhound and a weimaraner.
they already banned hunting mountain lions entirely because of the inhumanity of dog hunting them.
whats next no more bird dogs?

I am automatically against anything the HSUS in in favor of.

Every time I see threads like this I understand why so many Californians are leaving that jacked up state.
