ATTENTION Kansas City area patriots: The Westboro Baptist Church is expected to protest the memorial service of Navy Seal Matt Mason (who gave his life for this country) on Wed. August 17th at 9:15 am at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave. Leawood Kansas. Clear your schedule, drop what you have planned, and let's go out there and show support for the Mason Family! PLEASE REPOST!!!

The more attention you give these freaks, the more trouble they cause. About half the family is made up of lawyers who are itching for a reason to sue someone.

Not sure where you were headed with this. To me its a matter of making the Westboro folks the clear minority. Its a chance to show the love, support, and gratitude of a country to the family of a fallen hero, and to use our bodies and voices to shield them from the hate of those who pervert religion.

Its just an FYI for the locals. Please don't make this a political/religious issue.

It's not about giving attention to the westboro morons, its about protecting the santuary of a fallen hero, and his family.

Protest cannot be heard over the staight pipes of a Harley.

Large AMERICAN flags can block a lot of protest signs.

I just cleared my calender, I'M GOING.

I couldn't agree with you more! I was at work and replying via my cell so I couldn't type much. The point I was trying to make was...be careful. These people make a living off of suing people and when you see such freaks of humanity inflicting emotional pain and disrespect on people, especially the grieving families of our armed forces, it can make you wanna do things that will have serious legal ramifications.

I have always wanted to go but knowing my personality, I know it would be a bad idea because I wouldn't be able to contain my anger and disgust with the said group.

with the deaths of these brave men being such high profile, i bet these a-holes are going to go all out to make a big asshole of a situation...

those nearby, try to do what you can for his family...

I got lined up with the Patriot Guard, where to be and what I'll be doing. One little thing to do in the morning then I'll ride all night long to get there but I'll be there,

Thanks to the Patriot Guard, they weere in Columbus, MS couple of months ago, about 100 or more of them.

I just saw this. I wish that I would have seen it yesterday because this is right around the corner from me. Did anyone go? These people came to my home town and were swiftly ran off by a bunch of bikers.

Phelps and his boy didn't fair too well. They weren't allowed on the church property, and they were put on 135th St so they wouldnt impeed traffic. Problem was, they were put in an area big enough for a whole crowd of angry citizens from KS?Mo.

We (the Patriot Guard) couldn't get close to Phelps and hiw Wetfield bastard cult.

Still we had about 200 bikes for the escort. If you get a chance you need to get involved with the Patriot Guard/Riders.

Suprisingly seems like 90% were Vietnam Vets. Don't know if we just don't want today's soldiers to have a better reception then we got.

It was well worth the trip (even if they closed I29 causing an idiot like me to get lost)
