I'm interested in a better aftermarket stock with better bedding. But that's a little on the pricey side for me.
BTW There are at least two different inlets for the Savage MKII (22LR). Originally Savage (Lakeland) made the 22LR on a "short" action with a barrel mounted recoil lug (for Heavy Barrels) and the 22Mag/17HMR on a "long" action. Then later they standardized on a slightly different "long" action for both the 22LR/22Mag/17HMR. Confused yet?
