Feedback Avoid Scammers, Keep Your Account Safe

Hi all,

I wanted to send out a reminder about how to keep your account safe from being hacked so that you can keep buying and selling on the site. Here are a few things you can do:

1. Enable 2 Factor Authentication on your account. You can do that here and it'll add a passcode to your account which will provide extra security https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/account/security
2. Regularly update your password (even on other sites!) Other sites can get hacked and if you use the same password, your account could get hacked on the Hide too! Also, make sure you're regularly changing your email password as well. If they get access to your email, they can get access to your account.

Overall, make sure you know who you're talking to and you trust them. Do not use PayPal Friends & Family in your purchases, this is an extremely common scammer tactic, and always check someones profile and feedback before doing business with them. Stay safe out there everyone!

I posted interested in the comments for a posted item for sale and minutes later Cramey74 a guy with 500 some posts sends me a message. He includes pictures stolen from the listing and copied the listing posters profile picture and asks for payment by PayPal FF. I ask him why he isn’t the same account that posted the sales thread and he claims it’s a backup account. I call him out and he immediately deletes everything in our message chain and changes his profile picture. Bad news for him I took screenshots.

THis might seem like a dumb question, but wanted to ask how does a person gain XP as well as levels? I see a guy posting in the PX that has like 400+ messages but has the same XP/level as me.

Just asking because i want to try and mitigate being scammed as much as possible.

Actually might've found another account.
Guy got mad at me because hes selling a fc4 for 350 and you can get a new one from accu-tac (in db) for LESS than what he's asking.

When i asked him why he's selling it (i was asking about the height, wanted to know if i should get the FC or SR) he called me a bunch of names for wasting his time.

He also didn't hesitate to send FF paypal lol, im not sure how often that payment form is used but im a goods and services kinda guy.
