He had a place up in Santa Roasa, CA(Sonoma County) and could be found in a little Fish and Chips house called Betties on highway 12. Me and my brother had dinner with him..well a different table at the same time anyway. We just ate and gawked and whispered about that being Col Potter while we drank our Coke's and ate the best ever fish and chips. Somewhere in a box inside a tub out in the garage is a folded Sateen Army shirt with no sleeves and his signature on the pocket. Just a cool memento of my mispent youth...
