AZ BLM ?

Hello everyone,

I am a long time viewer of the forums, but first time poster. Anyway, without any one giving up any of their secret spots around Yuma. Could you reccomend some places to shoot. I'm planning a trip into AZ to shoot my 308 and I'm pretty tired of what I have around here. Plus it would be a little vacation too. Thanks for the help.

I have a few different places I use. Depends on how far you want to drive, and how far you want to shoot.

I work for the BLM in NM. You could call any of the Field Offices you might be headed to and ask for info on places shoot. Most public lands around here are open to shooting but we have a couple areas that are closed to shooting because of high recreation use. Quite a few folks get citations for shooting where they shouldn't but it could be avoided if they just came around asked. We have some really nice areas to shoot, topography, long range, etc. Look up some BLM offices on the Internet, ask for the rangers and pick thier brains for the areas you want to visit. Good luck
