Well decided to upgrade my older AMP annealer with AZTEC. Paid the upgrade fee and go the code and followed the upgrade instructions. Big mistake and now it doesn't work in either mode. Matt with AMP has been very responsive but the problem is yet to be resolved. I love this annealer and sold my Bench Source because it worked so well. Hopefully I can get it resolved because not looking forward to laying out $1,600 for a new model. Been messing with it all day and had to walk out of the shop because I came near the point of launching it into orbit.

They will get it fixed I’m sure. I had an issue after an update that would only anneal a few cases and was saying it was over heating. It was annoying but they quickly sent me a new file to upload and fixed the issue.

Why don't you let amp resolve this ( sounds like they are, and they are known for very fast and stellar customer service) instead of running them through the mud. For all we know you screwed up the upgrade didn't follow directions and bricked your machine.

You sound like you are impulsive and have anger control issues. Those are you problems not our problems.

I am not running them through the mud and if you read my email correctly you would have noticed that I mentioned that Matt with AMP is being very responsive in trying to resolve the issue. I am merely stating that there is an issue upgrading the unit. It could be a number of things possibly the initial units have an issue with the AZTEC upgrade. I think I have it narrowed down to the initial pilot calibration following the upgrade. Regardless as to whether the issue can be resolved I am already on the wait list for the new Mark II DB unit. As far as your psychological analysis of me you can put it where the sun doesn't shine. By the way I do have anger control issues with people like yourself.

You should probably read this : https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/some-of-you-guys-are-in-for-a-surprise.7215292/

What email are you talking about?

In your first post you say you arent looking forward to spending another $1600, which infers you wont get this fixed and will have to buy a new one. Then in the next post you say you are already on the wait list for a new Mark 2. Which is it? You are all over the place and not making sense.

I'm just saying in light of recent events where people are smearing companies without giving them a chance to make it right, its probably wise to let AMP fix the issue before blasting them on social media. These posts don't go away and when people search AMP issues or problems this will most likely come up in a search. If they fail to provide adequate service then you are free to post about it once you have exhausted reasonable avenues.

You are one thick headed SOB. I am not smearing the company and as stated Matt has been very helpful in trying to make it right. Matter of fact shortly ago I received an email from Matt with another potential fix. These guys and their machines are awesome and probably one of the most used pieces of reloading equipment in my shop. The reason I ordered a new one one is because I absolutely need it. There is a possibility due to the age of my machine that there may be an issue where it won't calibrate so that is why I placed an order for a new one. My bad I should have said post instead of email. That being said go find someone else to annoy.

    ^^^UPDATE^^^

Shout out to Matt for being patient and responsive to helping me resolve the upgrade issues. The issue was with the Slave and had to install an earlier version of the firmware which installed the correct slave. Works fine now and regardless still going to purchase the new DB model.
