Is there that much difference when using long range? Which do you guys prefer?

on the two BCs with the same muzzle velocity and compare. I know when I compared another 175 VLD, fir a 10mph full value wind, the windage diff at 1000yrds was like .4mils.

I have a feeling that shooting carpet through your rifle will yield poor results.
