The extraction and ejection on my Bergera B14R is NOT reliable. The spent cartridge gets stuck in the action, and requires removal of the magazine to get it cleared. It jams the bolt. I know some people have problems with the B14R this way. Anyone got a fix ?

Had the same issue. Remove extractors and may sure they move freely in theirs slots in bolt. I ground one of mine down on a flat file and issue went away.

Just went through this exact thing. Checked my collection of dual extractor rimfires, nearly all have about equal tension on both extractors. My factory Berg had a very weak left spring (spring appears similar to the firing pin return spring). Couldn’t find a stronger replacement in my parts box, so I found a smaller one which fit inside the original, with a reverse wind to avoid coil-lock. Cut to length and molybdenum disulfide grease coated to slick things up, I couldn’t get it to fail in test drills last weekend.
Next match will be the true test.

Good luck with their customer service. Expect to get it back saying all is fine and the problem is still there lol. Then the next time customer service sends you a link to a YouTube vid by some joe shmo to fix your ejector. Wouldn’t waste a dime with them.

Shot an event this weekend after adding a spring per 357Max’s post, rifle performed flawlessly, even at some sketchy angles.
👍
Saw a squad mate yesterday at the match we were shooting run into your problem. He kept on trying to jam the bolt closed on the clock until he looked into the chamber area and removed the stuck piece of brass. His B14R is unmolested.
The guy I sold my B14R was also with us. His new to him Bergara ran flawlessly. 😉

Or just a repsonse back that says "Well, you are running the bolt wrong." I'm NOT kidding. That is what they told me. Did the @357Max mod and all is well now.

My B14R will do this when shooting SK, Lapua ammo. The lubed cases will stick on top of the mag, on the last round, at times. I have had 2 stick in the bolt like the above pics. But does not do it with Eley ammo. Mine loves Eley Club.
