What ammo were you using ?500 yards, 24" square plate.
I've never actually measured groups, I just get a kick out of hearing the "ting" 2 seconds after pulling the trigger. You can run the bolt and still have to wait for the impact.
It's accurate enough I beat a Vudoo and rim-x Saturday. Not the gun, but it's close enough that the shooter is the one making the difference.
Sk long range match or pistol match special. Special shoots much better than standard pistol match for me.What ammo were you using ?
Pistol Match Special and Long Range Match are both 1106 FPS ammo, Pistol Match is 1073 FPS ammo, same as Rifle Match and Standard Plus...from what I understand.Sk long range match or pistol match special. Special shoots much better than standard pistol match for me.

A friend put it through the chronograph, he compared the ones I listed. The 1073 and 1106 FPS numbers are what SK lists. He said he was getting ~1090-1110FPS for long range match and pistol match special. There are two velocities manufactured by SK, at least that's the way it used to be, not sure what the semi-auto and HV muzzle velocities are, he never tried them. I'll put rifle match and pistol match over my Magnetospeed V3 when my Vudoo shows up.All the pistol ammo is way off advertised out of a rifle barrel so I haven't ever really payed attention I guess.
I just zero at 50, get drop at 200, and true the velocity in strelok. Verify drop at 250, 300, 400, 500, and call it a day.
SK Long Range Match is factory rated for 1099 fps (335 m/s). Of course individual rounds will vary in MV and by barrel, but 1131 fps is not an excessively "hot" MV for the round. In warmer temperatures average MV's will be higher than in cooler ones.1131 for long range match...that's pretty "hot"
1099 fps out of a 26" barrel. I don't know anyone that has a 26" .22LR barrel. I have a bunch of rifles with 16-20" barrels...lever actions, semi-autos, bolts, and a pump. I have a chronograph, but haven't used it yet...so I can't speak one way or the other.SK Long Range Match is factory rated for 1099 fps (335 m/s). If it's a nominal 1099 out of a 26 inch barrel, it will usually be a little faster in shorter barrels.1099 fps out of a 26" barrel. I don't know anyone that has a 26" .22LR barrel.
Sounds like an ammo issue, not a rifle issue. I'm guessing your T1x will be on par with the B14r in terms of accuracy with the right ammo. That’s impressive. I really need to try one of those.
My T1X is pretty great out to 200 yards, same as my mostly Kidd 10/22. But 2moa is pretty damn difficult at 300 for me, mostly vertical. My range is well lined with trees on the 300 yard line and wind plays a factor but not as much as it does for many.

Yes, but not for the reasons you state. Humidity changes the ratio of specific heats of the gas, but the effect is very minor, only about 5 fps between 25% and 95% humidity.ETAx2: Sound travels faster in water than air; does that make it travel faster in higher humidity than low humidity? In my head, yes...but I have no idea if that's true.
