Hello, quick question for you guys.

I bought a leupold mark IV and had custom dials for 300winmag 180gr Hornady SST and on my leupold the arrows on the elevation and windage drums both point in the directions that manipulation moves the reticle. The problem is, the arrow points right for upwards movement and when I turn right, the reticle moves down, and the windage shows right for rightwards movement, but it is also backwards. Am I short a few brain cells or does this mean that leupold accidently put the wrong drums on my dials?

Re: Backwards Dials on Leupold?

its right, its not talking about which way the reticle moves, its the bullet impact. To move the strike of the round up, the reticle moves down, to move the strike of the round left the reticle moves right

Re: Backwards Dials on Leupold?

deadly's correct (as is your scope). Reticle down=bullet up, reticle left=bullet right.

The marking show point of impact movement in relation to point of aim.
