Bad Fed Auto Match?

Anyone else having a very high rate of FTF with some lots of Federal Auto Match? Had a box this weekend that was misfiring about 1 in 15 rds, maybe a little more. This was in both a 15-22 and SR22. Switched to CCI (cheap, blue 50rd boxes) and the failures went away. I had a similar situation a couple months ago with another box of Auto Match. Was I unlucky enough to end up with two bad boxes or is this becoming a common thing with them? Any suggestions for more reliable blasting fodder at a good price (I'm paying $25/325 for auto match)?

I have a few cases in the same lot number that I have been shooting without one FTF, imagine it could be a less than stellar lot?

Not sure what's going on. I wish I would have picked up the duds to try them in a bolt gun. This was lot # 1HG218.

i've had a box that had lots of duds out of a value pack. however for bulk stuff still way better than the remington crap.

when rimfire prices were high gecco and am seemed like a cheap alternative with zero ftf

i see cci cci is coming back and reasonable in terms of price.

hopefully the good old days will be back soon

I burnt through two boxes last week in a walther p22, 22-15, and a mk 2. No issues at all.
