Wondering if I may have just gotten a bad one or if anyone else is in the same boat.

I installed a Badger Stabilizer on my AR10 because at some point I may be installing a UNS or MUNS ahead of my day optic.

I was recently at a conference and attempted to install a MUNS with a LaRue throw lever mount on the top rail of the stabilizer. We just could not get it to fit. Today I broke out the calipers and it seems that I am getting a groove width of .206-.207. When I measured my upper they are all .208. The Spec calls for ".206 +.008".

Has anyone else had issues with devices fitting?

I can pull my day optic with ADM mount off the receiver and mount it to the handguard just fine. I have not tried my LaRue CCO mount on it yet. I may do that in a bit to just see if the lug tolerance is different.

If the tolerances are .206-.214 and you're getting .206, then it's considered within specifications, right? Width of the groove might not be the culprit here.

That's why I am going to try to find a couple other sources for data and try to mic my CCO mount.

It may be that the particular mount on the MUNS was tight.

I guess it would be too much to hope for to find someone running a OSTI AN/PVS-27 MUNS on a Badger Stabilizer present on the board.

Of course it would be fairly simple to have a machinist take a couple thousandths off of the back side of the lugs, but that is kind of hard when you are trying to T&E something.
