I have a rem 700 sps varmit in .308 with a Zeiss conquest 6.5x20x50. I have ordered a Badger 20moa rail with the standard 30mm Badger rings. Can anyone tell me if these rings are too short? Do I need medium or taller?

Re: Badger rings

Thank you. The scope I have is 1" not 30mm so now Im left trying to find rings without spacers. Do you know anyone that makes an .885 1" diameter that are any good? I know Badger makes a 34mm with inserts but I don't think I want that. The only reason Im wanting to go to 20 moa rail is because the scope is near bottomed out and if I can get better Id like too.

Re: Badger rings

Get the Badger 30mm to 1" reducers. They are made by Badger for the application you describe and work great. I'm running a set on a 7mm RM and there is no problem.

. . . and FWIW, this is posted in the "Night Vision". You might have better luck with more responses by having a moderator move this to the main scope section.
