Range Report Ballistic Calculator

Re: Ballistic Calculator

JBM is handy for that, but it can be done with any ballistics program.

http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj-5.1.cgi

Set the column 1 output to inches, and set the rest of the initial screen for your load.

Then change the zero range to the range you're shooting, for which you want to know the max ord.

The biggest number in the output in inches is the max ordinate.

If you use another program, you'll have to translate whatever drop it puts out into inches or feet. Using JBM is easier.
