Ok, I am torn. I have a edm 408 CT. I am thinking of putting the BORS on the nightforce scope. Or, should I get the Panasonic CF-P1 and download the ballisitcs data. Or do both? Any info would be appreciated.

The BORS is not accurate enough for long-distance shooting with that cartridge. I'd go for the other solution.

P.S. - that phone is not your only option. There are several ruggedized PDA platforms in that price range, like the TDS Recon, for field ballistic programs. I don't like phones in that application. Phones are active emitters, and frequently battery hogs as well.
Or you could just go with a more conventional PDA in an Otter Box if you don't need a full ruggedized solution in your application, or build a density altitude ballistics table and do without the PDA at all.

Agreed. Ask around and you will find the BORS isn't a good solution for ELR. It may get there eventually, but at this point it's not ready for prime time. At least that's my opinion.
