Does anyone shoot this combo. I have and encore ussually shoot shockwaves but local store was out. They say they shoot good they are high, plus need a load aligner. Are these like the barnes TSX of muzzleloading.

Re: Barnes 250 tmz over blackhorn 209

I shot a bull elk with 250 grain TMZ over 100 grains of 777 and the bullet worked great. The bull toppled over right in front of me. The bullet traveled all of theway through the vitals and stopped just inside the hide on the opposite side. Perfrectly mushroomed as well. Awsome performance, I will use them again. Also I was shooting 100 grains of BH209 all summer but right before my hunt I found out that I could not use the BH 209 here in UT so I switched for 100 grains of 777 and they both shot identically.
