Anyone shooting the barnes 70grn TSX through an AR15? I have tried TAC from 23.5 to 24.5 grains in .2 grain increments, and am getting 3 plus inch groups. Im using lake city brass and federal primers. The upper is an 18inch Mk12 mod o type with 1/7 twist. It shoots sub moa with black hills 75 grain.

Switch powders, and see if it improves. I've had the same issues with certain bullets and load combinations in 223. If it's a 5.56 chamber, load it up a little higher than 223 load data. It normally shoots best slightly over 223 max data.

I just tested these in my Rock River 1-8 twist. I got good accuracy 3/4 - 1MOA with RE-15, Varget and I4895. I also loaded some 75 gr Swift Sirroco's, both shot the same. I will be using them on Texas hogs and deer starting next weekend. These were loaded 2.26, just fit and functioned in my Magpul mags.

I have a friend running these in his AR getting excellent results . I will hit him up tomorrow and get his load data . I believe he is running a Vhita Vouri powder and pushing them as hard as possible . He tried the TAC and didn't get real great results either .
