Barrel Code Question.

I purchased a Remington ADL rifle, I am having some trouble with the barrel code, barrel code reads, D A N 41, any help with this would be appreciated.
I checked on some web sites, but this was a confusing issue for me, Thanks, Charlie.

A picture would help. Barrel dates codes read: Letter for Month Letter for Year. One of those letters doesn’t count. If it’s a six digit serial number, I would say it’s March of 1966.

“N” for year cycles back around in 1993. That would be a 7 digit serial number, with a letter prefix. Still March for “A”

If it’s DA, D is September. A would be 1980 or 2006. Before 1980, A was 1954, but that wouldn’t be a 700.

I’ve seen dedicated online gun auctions get it wrong. Knowing some specific styles and features can be a quick giveaway to a gun’s vintage.

Yup I'm with @RIGREG that should be March of '66 with that barrel code, the short shroud, split sear trigger and "tombstone" safety... Nice looking rifle!
