Barrel/smith advice for a Valkyrie build (fun and yotes)

Cliffs: 1st: What barrel, where am I sending it? 2nd: Not so heavy I hate lugging it.

I'd appreciate some advice here. (Except caliber, lol. Yes if the shelves were full, I'd probably go 22GT. Looking for the easy button and valkyrie ammo is everywhere still, and at good prices)

Intended purpose is mainly a fun range toy, part time yote killer, and maybe try and play in a local match or two. (in it to learn, have fun). Going to be shooting factory Federal 80.5 Bergers for now. Once components are flowing again I'll hand load for it.

Looking to strike that balance of length, weight and performance. Current yote rig is 9.5lb AR empty without can. With a 20 round mag and my can, guessing it's closer to 11lbs. Livable, have hated it on a couple warmer days when we are hoofing it all day.

7lbs before barrel(and trigger), just a scant 3lb stick gets me to 10lbs. That's naked, unloaded and probably on the optimistic side.

Looking at 1:7, 20-22" finished. According to the Pac-nor calculator a Sendero contour nets me 4.43lbs.

Is there a better contour that'll hold up to a quick 10 shot string, and give me a break on weight? Flute the heck out it?

Talk to me. Ultimate goal is for this to be so fun it leaves the safe every trip.

Bartlein has a 22" finish CFW 556 up on their inventory page, it might save you a smidge of weight.

It sounds like you're not going to save much weight over what you already have. As with everything, its where you draw the compromise.

Light Palma or light varmint
You could do a barrel nut snd save a bit more weight.
I’ve gotten all my barrels from Keystone or Shilens from NSS.
