There was recently another thread on these. There are some that don't require extra barrel machining to be done and bolt on just behind the brake.

Looks like they work and work well.

They work as advertised.
Some guys use them on all their rifles. Some resort to them if they just can’t find a load their barrel likes, or if they only shoot factory ammo. The theory behind it is sound.
