Ok guys, help me out.

I've
a. Snipers Hide searched
b. Google'd it
c. Checked Savages website (they only list 270 and 30-06 model specs, WTF???)

Title says it all, what is the twist rate on a 300 WM Savage 116FSS? Looking to potentially get one, and wanna start doing the load math...

If it's not listed in the available chamberings then it's probably not available in that caliber.

You could always get the 116 FCXP3 package which looks like the same rifle but comes with scope and is available in 300WM. It has a 10 twist. Or the 116 FHSS

If you have access to the one that you are thinking about buying then mark your cleaning rod and measure how many inches it takes to make one full revolution when pushing a brush thru the bore. A Savage 300WM will probably be my next rifle but the Savage/Stevens are so cheap I will buy one and strip it to the reciever and build to my specs for not much more than a good 300WM straight from Savage. YMMV but something to think about.

eta: I am jealous of where you live, plenty of places in AZ to stretch a 300WM out to its capacity.
