Barrels: Good vs. Good but not quite as good

The last I heard a few years ago is they are out of business (Blackstar). I might be wrong but doing a search on the net....nothing comes up.

I think you're right, Frank; my best Bing-Chi fails to come up with a current business for BlackStar. They were originally a project by the son of the owner of a business called DelStar, but as I understand, the business didn't make (enough) money for the old man despite the quality of the barrels and was sold to a third party. I spoke to him it seems only a few years back and he was only offering a limited selection of barrels and nothing over 26 inches. I guess he folded.

I have two Bartlein barreled rifles and one Krieger, all are good shooters.

Ive had great results from the 3 B's - Bartlein, Broughton and Brux.
Also used Rock, PacNor and Shilen with good results.
