Hi all just joined up from Australia. I usally hunt in the middle of New South Wales for wild boar. But purchased a barret 3 years ago for some long range hunting but have had no luck with reloads. So far it only loves new brass. In relation to reloads I started using ADI 2213C
but i wasnt getting good case density with signs of high pressure. Also was given some brass and mixed it with my brassbad move. So i started again and used some V V N165 as I was using it in my 6.5 x 284.I found as the brass was getting older the more it became jambed after fireing. Also case head expansion and gas leaking from around the primer pocket. Prior to ignition i checked all the brass for chambering and extraction so there was no sticking but yet after fireing stuck case again. Now Iam using a ADI 2225 that states minimum load is 89 grains iam using a 300 g lapua match king.I did send the dies back 2 years ago and they said they are ok but how good was the person that checked them . The rifle was recently sent back to Nioa defence the importer of most boys toys to Aus. After test fireing and reading my details of the prolems they said that the only thing it could be is the dies ( Hornady custom) as the brass measured specs after ejection no jambs either.I did drop from 89 g minimum load to 4 grains under and still had jambs and gas leaks. So the gun is ok its either my brass my dies or me . I have ordered a new set of Redding 3 die set that will be delivered tomorrow and I will start the process again so any idea's would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for your time and for having me
Cheers
