Ok guys, I got my M99 a couple weeks ago and since I had the scope listed above collecting dust, I decided to mount it on the .50 and let her rip. Ive actually enjoyed this scope and while its lacking in the higher mag range, Its a scope thats no longer collecting dust. Ive seen many 50's out there with the same scope, and they have the BORS on it. (Yes I have the Barrett Zero-Gap rings). SO as of right now, Im enjoying the rifle and scope. I have a personal 1500yd range and can easily increase to 1 mile, so I will be shooting this distance very often.
So regardless if I get the BORS, Im still gonna dope the rifle the good old fashioned way. But Im thinking if I ever come across a chance to stretch out further than 1 mile, I wont have the dope for it. This is where the BORS will come in handy. Does anyone have experience with it?
